A high-performance SCSI storage emulator.
This is the latest model in the ZuluSCSI series, equipped with the RP2350B microcontroller. It can be used with a wide range of retro computers with a SCSI interface, including Classic Macintosh, Amiga, X68000, and PC-98.
Simply place a disk image (or CD-ROM ISO) with the correct filename onto an SD card, and it will be recognized by the SCSI host machine. Up to 7 SCSI devices can be emulated simultaneously. Supports FAT32 and exFAT.
■ Product Information
■ Main Specifications
- 16-bit stereo CD audio playback emulation (built-in onboard DAC)
- Expansion footprint for RM2 Wi-Fi wireless module (compatible with separately sold modules)
- USB-C connector (for data transfer at USB 1.1 speeds, power supply, and serial console)
- Maximum read speed 18MB/sec, maximum write speed 11MB/sec
- Firmware: Open source (GPLv3 license)
■ High-speed transfer
- Supports both synchronous and asynchronous SCSI transfers. The combination of a high-speed SD card and an Ultra SCSI controller achieves read speeds of up to 18MB/second.
■ Installation
- Board size: 90mm × 100mm
- The M3 mounting holes in the four corners are arranged in the same way as on the bottom of a 2.5-inch HDD.
- It can be directly attached to most commercially available 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch conversion mounts.
