This is a semi-complete set of nine Maruto Baseball Gum Cards for the Hanshin Tigers,
released by Maruto Seika in 1960.
This set consists of ten cards representing nine positions and managers, but one of them is extremely rare.
Of the six Central League teams, rare Tigers and Swallows cards have yet to be found.
These nine cards include Hall of Famers Minoru Murayama and Yoshio Yoshida.
The nine cards, in position order, are Murayama, Tokaji, Toi, Fujimoto, Miyake, Yoshida, Otsu, Namiki, and Kaneda.
The previous owner appears to have stored the cards by gluing them to notebook-like paper.
Of the nine cards, Murayama, Fujimoto, and Yoshida are still attached to the paper.
The remaining six have peeled off the paper.
There is still some paper from the notebook remaining on the back of the six cards that have peeled away, but the cards themselves are undamaged.
Please look at the photos to determine the rest of the condition.
Unfortunately, it appears that Murayama has suffered the most damage.
I have not tried to dissolve the glue to prevent further damage.
If I could figure out how to dissolve the glue,
all of the cards would be in even better condition.
If you win the bid, please make payment or contact me within 24 hours.
Please note that this is a NC/NR transaction.
